CHAIN DRIVEN ROLLER CONVEYORSDESCRIPTIONThe chain drive roller conveyor made by Mecatriel is used to transport loads in places where belt driven roller conveyors cannot be used. A more compact conveyor, of less than 12" T.O.R can be manufactured with a chain drive. For example, it is often used on lifting platforms (shown below) downstream of a stacker. Other functions can be added to the conveyor, as there is more space available. Furthermore, it is possible to manufacture shorter conveyors, which is an advantage when bridging between conveyors. Roller supports are made of steel and are laser cut for maximum alignment precision of rollers. A chain guard is installed throughout the length of the conveyor to help avoid injuries.
