PUSHERDESCRIPTIONMecatriel’s pusher is a system created to transfer charges from one conveyor to another with the help of a pusher-chariot. At a right angle with the conveyor, the chariot pushes the load perpendicularly to the line of conveyors. It can transfer the load onto a parallel conveyor or a perpendicularly to the line. A 1½ HP motor is used to move the chariot. The transmission is done with a torq limiter in order to protect the mechanical parts from an overload or against possible blockage. This last transmits the power to two #60 chains to which the chariot is fixed. Movement is done on rails with cam-followers. Pushers can be used in tandem for long loads. It can also be used with a clamp in order to slide the load on a protective piece of cardboard.
