MOTORISED TRANSFER CARDESCRIPTIONThe motorized transfer car made by Mécatriel is a system created to transition between multiple conveyors. Positioned in an alley perpendicular to the conveyors, the car moves laterally to transition between out of line conveyors. Operated manually or automatically, the car is equipped with a multi-sensor security system or with laser sweeping to prevent collisions. Like the shuttle, the transfer car has the advantage of opening the central alley to pedestrians and to maintenance vehicles that require access the equipment. A motorized transfer car is equipped with a platform for the operator and with one to four conveyors depending on your needs. A 5 to 10 HP motor us used to move the car at speeds up to 350 FPM.
