Fork Entry

Mecatriel fork entry is a system made to allow the loading and unloading of a conveyor with the help of a fork truck.

A frontal fork truck entry is placed at the end of a conveyor. It is not motorized. The rollers of the fork entry can either be slightly inclined towards the conveyor or towards the lift, whether the conveyor is being loaded or unloaded. The rollers are placed in rows in order to leave spaces for the truck?s forks.

A side fork truck entry can be installed anywhere along the conveyor. The space left for the forks take the place of three rollers, leaving enough rollers to support the load.

Like the fontal fork entries, bi-directional fork truck entries are placed at the end of a conveyor and the rollers help load or unload the conveyor, depending on its position. The rollers are positioned in three rows for frontal entry (to allow two spaces for the truck?s forks) and are separated in three columns for side entry.

The modules of the fork entries are made with 3/8" steel sheets, with the exception of the fork truck entry borders which are made of 1/2" steel sheets for more sturdiness.

Below are our standard specs, which can be adapted to the specific needs of every client.
